Andrews (Comber)

The Andrews family of Comber, county Down were engaged in the milling business. In the mid-19th century George W. Andrews held the townland of Aghnahederny in the parish of Kilbride, county Cavan. A John Andrews held 3 townlands in the neighbouring parish of Crosserlough. In 1876, George Andrews of Comber, county Down, owned 895 acres in the county.
