Warner
Reverend Gustavus Warner's interest in 1,279 acres of lands known as the Smithboro' estate in county Monaghan was offered for sale in the Encumbered Estates Court in 1852. By the time of Griffith's Valuation the trustees of the Presbyterian Widows Fund and Arthur Gambell Lewis were lessors of some of these lands. In 1837, the Reverend Gustavus Warner married Alicia, daughter of Joshua Kemmis of Queen's County (county Laois). Catherine Kemmis was the petitioner to the sale. Reverend Warner was Rector of Castlelost, county Westmeath.
