Garstin

In 1698, Norman purchased the lands of Coolderry, county Monaghan, from the Earl of Athlone and died in 1719. His descendant the Reverend Anthony Garstin of Bragganstown and Coolderry died unmarried in 1873. His representatives owned 258 acres in county Monaghan in 1876 while Hussey records John Ribton Garstin of Bragganstown owning 928 acres in county Louth and 2 acres in county Dublin.
