Beatty (Kilcorran)
In the mid-19th century William Beatty held the townland of Kilcorran, parish of Tedavnet, county Monaghan. In 1876 William H. 'Betty owned 236 acres in the county. Members of the Beatty family are recorded as living in this townland in both the 1901 and 1911 censuses.
