Rankin (Inishowen)
Samuel Rankin is listed among the principal lessors in Donagh parish, barony of Inishowen East, at the tie of Griffiths Valuation in the 1860s. Hussey de Burgh records him as the owner of over 4000 acres in County Donegal in the 1870s. Micah Rankin owned over 400 acres in the area at the same time.
