McSheaffrey
In the 1870s, the estate of James McSheaffrey, of Dromaville, Inishowen, amounted to over 2300 acres in County Donegal. At the time of Griffith’s Valuation in the 1850s he was among the principal lessors in the parish of Clonca, barony of Inishowen East. The will of James McSheffrey of Dromaville House, Inishowen is recorded by the National Archives of Ireland in 1892.
