LLoyd (Ballyleck)

In 1846, the 3rd Baron Rossmore married as his second wife Josephine Julia Helen, daughter of Henry Lloyd of Farranrory, county Tipperary. By the early 1860s Lady Rossmore’s brother, Jesse Lloyd, was occupying Ballyleck House. He was High Sheriff of county Monaghan in 1863 and a Lieutenant Colonel of the Monaghan Militia. In 1876, Lieut Col Lloyd of Ballyleck owned 999 acres in the county.
