Stewart (Ballymenagh and Corcam)

This branch of the Stewart family is connected with that at Ballymenagh and Killymoon, County Tyrone. The introduction to the Stewart of Tyrcallen papers in the Public Record Office, Northern Ireland, indicates that Henry Stewart, together with George Whitelocke, purchased the Tyrcallen estate from the McCausland family in 1789.
