Jackson (Clones)

In 1876, Henry Jackson of Cara, Clones, county Monaghan owned 737 acres in the county. Griffith’s Valuation records him as a landholder in the parishes of Killeevan and Kilmore. He married Ellen Jane daughter of Samuel Kidd of Dundrum, county Armagh, and died in 1893. He was succeeded by his son Samuel Kidd Jackson.
