Knox (Raphoe North)

Reverend William Knox was among the principal lessors in the parishes of Clonleigh, barony of Raphoe North and Desertegney, barony of Inishowen, County Donegal, at the time of Griffiths Valuation in the 1850s. The representatives of William Knox of Clonleigh House, Strabane are noted by Hussey de Burgh as the owners of over 1000 acres in County Donegal as well as over 2000 acres in County Tyrone.
