Cochrane (Kilmacrenan)
At the time of Griffiths Valuation, in the 1850s, Joseph Cochrane was among the principal lessors in the parish of Killygarvan, barony of Kilmacrenan. Joseph Cochrane of Edenmore, County Donegal, was recorded as owning of almost 1000 acres in the county in the 1870s.
