Moorhead
In the mid-19th century Samuel Moorhead of Errigle/Errigal, Cootehill, county Cavan, held an estate in the parishes of Aghnamullen, barony of Cremorne and Aghabog and Currin, barony of Dartree, county Monaghan. He married Mary Elizabeth Barton of Dublin and died in 1871. He was succeeded by his son Thomas Robert Hamilton Moorhead, who owned 381 acres in the county in 1876.
