Boggs (Inishowen)
Gardner Boggs was the lessor of several properties in the parish of Moville Lower, barony of Inishowen East in the later 1850s. The Landowner’s Survey of the 1870s records the representatives of George Boggs as the owners of over 470 acres in county Donegal. In 1877 the rental of almost 500 acres of the Boggs estate was offered for sale in the Landed Estates Court by Katherine Boggs and others, executors and representatives of Ninian Gardner Boggs.
