Westhead
Joshua Proctor Brown Westhead of Yorkshire was a Manchester manufacturer and a director of the Trent Valley Railway Company. He was Member of Parliament for Knaresborough 1847-1853 and for York 1857-1865 and 1868-1871. In 1855 his only daughter Adelaide married John Constantine de Courcy, 29th Baron Kingsale. The Westheads lived at Lea Castle, Wolverly in the latter 19th century. In the 1870s Joshua P.B. Westhead owned 3,473 acres in county Cork.
