Rushbrooke
In the 1870s Frederica Rushbrooke of Ringmen, Queenstown, county Cork, owned 1,261 acres in that county. Frederica Harriet Rushbrooke was the daughter of Colonel Robert Rushbrooke of Rushbrooke Hall, Suffolt and his wife Frances Davers. Frederica was born in 1819 and died in 1882. Her nephew William Henry Rushbrooke of Cosford, Surrey and Whitepoint, Queenstown, was created a Count of Rome in 1892. An area on the west side of Cobh is now known as Rushbrooke.
