Whalley (Rathronan)
Francis C. Whalley of Bath, England, owned 850 acres in county Tipperary in the 1870s. Walford (1908) records Laurence Travell Whalley of Rathronan, county Tipperary, who succeeded his aunt Mrs Frances Augusta Caroline Buxton Whalley in 1898. Laurence T. Whalley was the third son of the Reverend James Park Whalley of Thetford, Norfolk.
