Murray (Co Tipperary)
In the 1870s Maria Murray owned 1,101 acres in county Tipperary. [A Murray family held premises in the town of Clonmel in the late 19th century, including a mill, houses and plots advertised for sale in June 1880, the estate of Anne Banfield Murray and Abraham Murray. Also the estate of Patrick Murray and Mary Wade administratrix of James Murray deceased, comprised of valuable mills, a dwellling house and land adjoining the town of Clogheen, barony of Iffa and Offa West, were advertised for sale in March 1866].
