Frederick Hamilton of Douglas, Cork, owned 2,966 acres in county Tipperary in the 1870s. The lands of Lackamore and Killeen about 566 acres in the barony of Owney and Arra, county Tipperary, the estate of Susanna Sophia Hamilton, John Walter Bourke and Frederick Hamilton was advertised for sale. The sale was adjourned due to lack of bidding.
