Errington
This family was originally from York in the north of England. In 1838, Michael Errington [born 1801], married Rosanna, daughter of Ambrose More O'Ferrall of Balyna, county Kildare. He purchased estates in county Tipperary. Their eldest son, George, was created a baronet in 1885. In the 1870s George Errington and Michael Errington, both of Dublin, owned 177 acres and 1,460 acres respectively in county Tipperary. Michael Errington also owned 1,064 acres in county Kildare and 15 acres in county Dublin.
