Hearne (County Waterford)
John Bagge Hearne is recorded as the owner of over 1900 acres in county Waterford in the 1870s while George Hearne owned over 500 acres. Morris notes that this family had been granted a lease in perpetuity of lands at Shanakill in the parish of Rathgormack. Financial difficulties caused the sale of this property in 1866.
