Kennedy (Clashmore)
The Landowners Return of 1876 records Mrs. Francis [sic] Kennedy of Ballynamultina, Clashmore as the owner of over 330 acres in county Waterford. At the same time Robert Ronayne Kennedy of Bruff, county Limerick and Ballynamultina, was the owner of over 230 acres. Francis Kennedy was among the principal lessors in the parish of Kilmolash, barony of Decies-within-Drum, county Waterford, at the time of Griffith's Valuaton. The Mansfield Papers Collection list in the National Library of Ireland indicates that Francis Kennedy, senior and junior, as well as Robert Ronayne Kennedy, acted as agents for the Mansfield's estates in county Waterford.
