Gamble (Waterford)
Fanny and Sarah Gamble owned small amounts of land in county Waterford in the 1870s. In May 1855 and June 1864 Stephen Gamble offered for sale, in the Encumbered and Landed Estates Courts, his interest in lands in the barony of Middlethird. The 1855 sale notice indicates that the original lease, dated 1695, was between John Otterington and Thomas Gamble. The Freeman's Journal reported that it was purchased in trust by Mr. Delander.
