William Law Ogilby held an estate of 2 townlands amounting to about 940 acres in the parish of Templetenny, barony of Iffa and Offa West, county Tipperary at the time of Griffith's Valuation. He was married to Elizabeth Jane Power, daughter of John Power and Anna Ross and sister of Pierce Power of Lackin, county Waterford. William Law Ogilby was a ship agent in London.
