Gleeson
At the time of Griffith's Valuation Michael Gleeson held land in the parish of Kilmacdonogh, barony of Imokilly, county Cork. In the 1870s members of the Gleeson family with addresses in the Riverstown area, barony of Barrymore, held lands amounting to 555 acres or less in county Cork . The lands of Erinagh, 51 acres in the barony of Upper Ormond, county Tipperary, were advertised for sale in November 1854, the estate of the assignees of John and Michael Gleeson, insolvent debtors.
