Burgess

At the time of Griffith's Valuation members of the Burgess family held land in the parishes of Killenaule, barony of Slievardagh, and Cooleagh and Drangan, barony of Middlethird, county Tipperary. In the 1870s members of this family held over 800 acres in the county.
