Edden
The Eddens were coach builders in the city of Cork from circa 1818 to 1860. At the time of Griffith's Valuation Robert W. and John W. Edden held premises in the city and about 100 acres in the parish of Rathcooney, barony of Cork. By the mid 1870s John William Edden of Nelson's Place, Cork, was the owner of 1,638 acres in county Cork. http://www.jpmg.ie/index.php/history
