Power (Mount Richard)
At the time of Griffith's Valuation John Power held an estate in the parishes of Killaloon, Kilsheelan and Newtownlennon, barony of Iffa and Offa East, county Tipperary. In the 1870s John Power of Dublin owned 1,338 acres in county Tipperary and Sarah A. Power of Mount Richard owned 125 acres. The lands of Scartlea, barony of Upperthird, county Waterford and one divided moiety of Ballyrichard, barony of Iffa and Offa East, was advertised for sale in February 1853.
