Woods (West Carbery)
Mrs. Woods of Dereeny, Skiberreen, was the owner of almost 400 acres in county Cork in the 1870s while William Woods, of Kilkeran House, Clonakilty, owned over 150 acres. At the time of Griffith's Valuation, Thomas and John Woods were among the principal lessors in the parish of Drinagh, while John Woods also held property around the town of Bandon.
