Beamish (Mount Beamish)
Burke indicates that this family was a branch of that of Beamish of Kilmalooda, descended from Richard Beamish, third son of Francis Beamish and Catherine Bernard. Members of the family followed careers in the Church and in medicine during the nineteenth century.
