Wolfe (Kilmacabea & Skibbereen)
The representatives of William Wolfe held over 500 acres in county Cork in the 1870s. Jasper Travers Wolfe, son of William Wolfe, was elected as TD for Cork West between 1927-1933. He ran a successful solicitors practice in the town of Skibbereen. The Bantry Estate Archives contain a number of references to him. Philip Wolfe of Bantry was also located in this area. He owned 992 acres in the 1870s.
