Callanan (Co Cork)
At the time of Griffith's Valuation William Callanan held land in the parish of Kilbonane, barony of East Muskerry, county Cork. In June 1857 the 883 acre estate of William and Susanna Callanan at Rerour and Knockanleigh in the barony of East Muskerry, held in fee simple, was advertised for sale. Rerour was readvertised in October 1863. In the mid 1870s William Callanan is recorded as the owner of 601 acres in county Cork.
