O'Brien (Condons & Clangibbon)
Denis O'Brien of Dalkey, county Dublin, owned 933 acres in county Cork in the 1870s. The estate of Denis O'Brien at Lyre (Barry), parish of Macroney, barony of Condons and Clangibbon, was advertised for sale in April 1875 and April 1876. At the time of Griffith's Valuation Henry Barry was the immediate lessor of much of the townland of Lyre (Barry).
