Hanning
At the time of Griffith's Valuation James Hanning held land in the parishes of Ballyoughtera, Middleton and Cloyne, barony of Imokilly, county Cork. In May 1858 906 acres belonging to James Hanning were advertised for sale in the baronies of Cork and Imokilly. They were held on leases from the mid 18th century to an earlier James Hanning and John Hanning. This family were connected to the Rowlands of Kilboy through marriage.
