Dorman
In October 1856 almost 100 acres of the estate of Henrietta Sarah White and Charlotte Mary Dorman White was offered for sale in the Encumbered Estates Court. Their mother, Charlotte Mary Dorman was the heiress to Thomas Dorman, of Raffeen House, county Cork. She had married Robert Hedges Eyre White of Glengarriffe Castle. Sarah Dorman was among the principal lessors in the parish of Kilmacabea, barony of East Carbery, at the time of Griffith's Valuation. The representatives of Sarah Dorman, Dunmanway, owned 473 acres in county Cork in the 1870s.
