Minhear
At the time of Griffith's Valuation members of the Minheer family held lands in the parishes of Inchigeelagh and Clondrohid, barony of West Muskerry, county Cork, some of it in conjunction with Mitchell. In the 1870s Captain Minhear of Sunday's Well, Cork owned 785 acres in county Cork and William Minhear of Raleigh, Macroom, owned 338 acres. Members of the Minhear family were managers of the Munster Bank in Macroom.
