McDaniel (Bandon)
Daniel McDaniel offered for sale the property described as "the four gneeves of Knockmacoole", amounting to over 111 acres, in June 1883. The sale was adjourned due to lack of bidding. The sale notice indicates that the original leasehold interest, belonging to the Warren family, dated from 1803. This was sold to George and Henry Longfield in 1851. Mrs Susan McDaniel owned 35 acres in 1876 while Daniel McDaniel owned 44 acres.
