Hicks
Dr. Thomas Hicks, of Derreenatra, Skull, was the owner of over 1700 acres in county Cork in the 1870s. He was one of the principal lessors in the parish at the time of Griffith's Valuation. Family history sources suggest he was the son of a Hertfordshire family. See http://members.cox.net/ggthomp01/thomashicks1805.html
