Godsell
A family established at Sunville, parish of Ardpatrick, county Limerick by at least the mid 18th century. In 1737 Michael Roberts Westropp of county Cork married Jane daughter of Amos Godsell. Family members served in the Kilfinane yeomanry and they had a flour mill at Sunville. Their estate was later taken over by the Lowes.
