The Misses Abbott are recorded in Griffith's Valuation as landholders in the parish of Tomfinlough, barony of Bunratty Lower, county Clare. In the 1870s Captain Stoll and Miss Abbott of Clarham, Maremead, Plymouth, owned 904 acres in county Clare.
