Thompson (Tulla)
Griffith's Valuation records Charles Thompson holding one townland in the parish of Tulla, barony of Tulla Upper, county Clare. In June 1855 Derrymore East, parish of Tulla (532 acres), was advertised for sale in the Encumbered Estates' Court and Norfolk Market and some other premises in Dublin city. Charles Thompson may possibly be a member of the Thompson family of Kilcorke, Ballybrophy, county Laois.
