Gentleman
Goodman Gentleman, of Ballyhorgan, Listowel, was the owner of over 700 acres in county Kerry in the 1870s. Robert G. Gentleman owned 265 acres of untenanted demesne at Ballyhorgan in 1906. Burke traces this family from a George Gentleman who was resident at Lixnaw. The family were connected with north Kerry since the late seventeenth century.
