Roche (Castleisland)
In 1864, the rental of lands at Ballymacadam, barony of Trughanacmy, owned by John Roche, an insolvent, was offered for sale in the Landed Estates Court. The original lease was from John Markham Marshall to Roche. Redmond Roche, senior and junior, owned over 1500 acres in Castleisland in the 1870s.
