Carleton
McParlan records Mr. Carleton as the owner of lands in Leitrim in 1802 but not a resident proprietor. At the time of Griffith's Valuation, George and Edward Carleton held lands at Ross Beg, parish of Cloone, some of which they held from the Crofton estate. In the 1870s Edward Carleton owned over 70 acres at Ross Beg.
