Fitzpatrick (Leitrim)
The estate of John Fitzpatrick at Corran, Kankeel and Drumdoo, barony of Mohill, was offered for sale in the Encumbered Estates Court in November 1855. Later, in November 1856 over 300 acres belonging to John, Thomas and Stephen Fitzpatrick was offered for sale in the Encumbered Estates Court. These lands were situated in the barony of Carrigallen. Details of the lease indicate that the property had originally been part of the Armstrong estate.
