Grainger
At the time of the first Ordnance Survey and of Griffith's Valuation the Graingers held an estate in the parish of Kiltoom, barony of Athlone, county Roscommon. His estate in the parish of Kiltoom with Liscam in the parish of Cam was advertised for sale in May and June 1859. Land belonging to William E. Grainger in county Meath and part of Mullagh in the parish of Kiltoom were advertised for sale in April 1862. William Edward Grainger of Grainger Lodge, Athlone is recorded in the Roscommon County Directory 1862.
