O'Flaherty (barony of Longford)

At the time of Griffith's Valuation Dominick O'Flaherty held the townland of Largan, parish of Donaghpatrick, barony of Clare, county Galway. Almost 200 acres of the estate of Dominick O'Flaherty at Kilneborris/Shannon View, in the barony of Longford was offered for sale in the Landed Estates court in November 1869. In the 1870s Dominick O'Flaherty with an address in Dublin owned over 300 acres in county Galway. John Andrew O'Flaherty, the residuary devisee of Bernard O'Flaherty, was selling Largan in the barony of Clare and Shannon View in the barony of Longford, in May 1884. Lane contends that Bernard O'Flaherty was an agent on the estate of Thomas Redington in the 1840s.
