Lynch (Rockwell)
Mary Lynch and her son Michael were granted 333 acres at Tobberoe by patent dated 16 Mar 1678. At the time of Griffith's Valuation the Lynches held 4 townlands in the parish of Kilconla and 1 townland in the parish of Dunmore, barony of Dunmore, county Galway. By the 1870s they owned an estate of 390 acres. Parts of the estate were advertised for sale in 1870, 1876 and 1878.
