Lennon
The Lennon estate owned lands in the parish of Ahascragh, barony of Clonmacnowen, county Galway in the 1850s. Lands at Cloncannon-Kelly, barony of Clonmacnowen, were offered for sale in the Landed Estates court in May 1862. The property had previously been offered for sale in the Encumbered Estates Court in July 1850. The sale details indicate that a legal dispute was in progress at that time between the Kelly and Lennon families relating to the estate.
