The O'Flynns advertised for sale lands in the parish of Ballynakill, barony of Ballymoe, county Galway, and in the barony of Castlereagh, county Roscommon in May 1871. The county Galway lands were in the possession of the Cheevers family in the mid 1850s, with whom the O'Flynns had intermarried.
