Daly (Hollyhill)
The estate at Hollyhill was in the possession of Arthur Daly in 1855. In 1814 Hollyhill was the residence of the Shaughnessy family. In 1837 a house called Ballydavid is listed as the residence of the Daly family in this area. Michael Joseph Daly of Hollyhill owned 756 acres in county Galway in the 1870s.
